History

St. Pio College of Nursing was founded on the principles of selfless service, healing, and academic excellence. Named after St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, the humble Capuchin friar known for his devotion to the sick and suffering, the institution was established to bridge the gap in healthcare manpower within the region and beyond.

The early years were defined by meticulous planning and the construction of a campus designed to be a sanctuary for focused learning. Every brick laid and every laboratory equipped was a testament to our commitment to excellence. Established in October 2025, sparked by a group of visionary educators and healthcare professionals who recognized a critical need: the world did not just need more nurses; it needed nurses who possessed both technical mastery and a deep, spiritual empathy for the human condition. Following a rigorous period of infrastructure development and faculty recruitment, the college officially opened its doors to its pioneer set of students in November 2025. A group of trailblazers who shared our belief that nursing is a divine vocation. This period marked the transformation of a dream into a living, breathing academic community.
